Wednesday 15th January, 2020
3:50pm (exhibition), 6 for 6:30pm (dinner)
The British Museum, Great Russell St, London WC1B 3DG
Il Castelletto, 17 Bury Pl, London, WC1A 2JB
The legend of Troy has endured for more than 3,000 years. The story of a great city, plunged into a 10-year war over the abduction of the most beautiful woman in the world, is irresistibly dramatic and tragic.
Following the visit the Sion College group will move on to the restaurant Il Castelletto where the Revd Dr Donald Easton, priest and archaeologist, author of Mysteries: the quest for Troy will talk to us about the search for the real Troy, and answer questions over dinner.
