Thursday 5th September 2024, 7.15 pm
Brasserie Blanc Southbank, 9 Belvedere Road, London SE1 8YP
Many of us will be aware of the significant changes to the way senior appointments are made in the Church of England in recent years. Beginning with Gordon Brown’s surrendering of the Prime Minister’s involvement in 2007 and considering the influence of Lord Green’s report on ‘talent’ development in 2014, this Sion College Seminar Supper will explore the impact of these systems on culture and leadership in the Church today.
We are delighted that Bishop Humphrey Southern will be our speaker. He is currently Principal of Ripon College Cuddesdon and draws on a wealth of experience in parochial and episcopal ministry, and theological education, all of which make him particularly well-placed to reflect on this subject. Our venue for the evening is a private room at Brasserie Blanc Southbank.

In the event of failure to attend without notice after being reserved a place, the Court will require a refund of the subsidy.
